Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This lively town lies at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari parks.

After check-in, you’ll receive a safari briefing and have time to relax after your flight. Overnight in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and towering baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season.

Enjoy a full game drive with chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birds. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight near Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but scenic park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions (occasionally seen), and large troops of baboons.

Enjoy a game drive through diverse habitats including forest, open grassland, and lakeshore. You may spot elephants, hippos, flamingos, and many bird species. Later, continue to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Today you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. This vast volcanic caldera is home to a dense concentration of animals, including lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor with a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and transfer to the Serengeti region for overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your journey into Serengeti National Park, passing through scenic highlands before the landscape opens into the endless plains that give the Serengeti its name.

Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti. This area offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing, especially for big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Your guide will track wildlife movements and take you to the best viewing areas.

Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you depart the Serengeti. You will travel back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with wildlife sightings possible along the way.

Arrive at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the cooler climate and scenic views. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Arusha – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with a lunch stop along the way. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or a short city tour.

Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible Tanzania wildlife safari.
